Karissa Bone is an artist, songwriter, and producer known for indie-inspired sound and "lyrics that are a masterclass in storytelling" (Early Rising). After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a Songwriting degree, she cut her teeth in the LA writing scene and has written songs for Suki Waterhouse, Tom Siletto, Ben Kessler, and many others. As an artist, she's been featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds Folk and Fresh Finds Pop playlists, opened for Ken Yates, Kieran Rhodes, and Belles on tour, and had her music synced in several TV shows. Most recently, her newest artist project Juno Blue landed a sync placement in the movie Other Mommy.

In addition to her work as a creative, Karissa has an extensive background in the music industry (A&R, Live Music, Marketing) and songwriting education spheres (Berklee Summer Programs, Interlochen Arts Camp). A true Midwesterner at heart, she is thrilled to join the team at the Music District and experience fall again.
