The Music District is currently hiring for a full-time position: Member Coordinator.
MEMBER COORDINATOR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Member Coordinator. The Member Coordinator is responsible for supporting the engagement of members to Music District programs, resources, staff, and each other. This role will provide general and personalized outreach to ensure member awareness of opportunities that align with their stated goals and interests and facilitate member access to information that aids them in effectively engaging with Music District programs, tools, facilities, and staff. This position collects, inputs, and reports data to inform recommendations for increasing member engagement. This role coordinates and supports artist development and programming in alignment with the artist development strategy. The Member Coordinator reports to the Artist Development Associate Manager and will act as the shift lead, as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Proven project support or coordination skills or an aptitude to learn with a strong preference for experience in the music/arts organizations.
Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, demonstrated active listening skills, ability to work gracefully and cooperatively under pressure.
Current or previous experience as a musician or professional music industry role.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights (~10pm) and weekends.
Ideal candidate will possess the following preferred qualifications and attributes:
Two or four-year degree in lieu of direct experience.
Strong connection to music communities regionally and nationally.
Previous experience using Salesforce or other systems such as Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Nexudus, PromoterOps, Basecamp.
A deep interest in the transformative power of music.
Physical requirements: ability to walk up and down stairs, ability to stand, work in varying physical environments, may provide support lifting and moving up to 25 lbs., as needed, but not as a regular part of the normal flow of the day-to-day workload.
The minimum starting rate for this position is $26.44 per hour. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, flexible time off, new parent leave, staff education and tuition-based education reimbursement.
