June 4 – June 7

Home City: Nashville, TN

Since forming in Boston in 2009, Nashville-based string band Della Mae has established a reputation as a charismatic live act comprised of some of the finest players in bluegrass, Americana and beyond.

In 2018 they proposed use the Music District as a space to share ideas, write, experiment, and generally get in a focused, creative zone together. Living in different cities this can be difficult to achieve. They utilized their time to work together as a group, as well as in smaller configurations, keep a creative flow going and ideally ended with three new songs as a result.

On top of this, the band spent a full day hosting one on one and group workshops for a cohort of Fort Collins based women musicians. Each of these musicians have their own projects and are active performers in our music scene, they were:

Trisha Adams

Emily Bassarear

Kelly Dtt

Johanna Doreen Brown

Danica Cunningham

Sammy Davison
