Join the Music District as we mark our first anniversary with The Surround Sound Bash, a celebration of sonic community. Find your place in music at this walkable mixtape-inspired party with live performances, multimedia interactives, a music video marathon, pop-up art show, photo op, themed activities, Silver Seed and La Piadina food trucks and cash bar, and explore the entire Music District campus with an immersive scavenger hunt game.

4:00pm, 5:45pm, & 6:45pm, Guerrilla Fanfare: One of the hottest brass bands in the mountain states, this group brings the raw, rowdy, unadulterated, booty-shakin’ New Orleans-style funk. // Outdoor: West Patio


4:00pm-7:00pm, The Rickshaw Live: Venture outside and experience this novel live performance mobile sound-stage, locomoted by a single bicycle pedaler. // Outdoor: West Patio


5:30pm & 7:30pm, Guided Walking Tour of the Music DistrictGo behind the scenes of the campus, learn the history of the buildings, and see all that the Music District has to offer. Please note: tours are first-come, first-served and will be capped at 15 participants. // Outdoor: West Patio


4:15pm-5:15pm & 7:00pm-7:30pm, TwoScoopS DJ set: Delivering the funk/soul party vibes with his high energy live performance, TwoScoopS uses traditional DJing techniques while incorporating original productions. // The Sisters, Level 2


4:00pm-6:30pm, Miniature Movie Scoring: Score your very own 30 second film using a selection of midi instruments. //The Sisters, Level 2


5:15pm-5:30pm, Emma MarieThis talented 12-year old singer-songwriter may be petite in stature, but the power of her voice conveys her passion for music. // The Sisters, The Living Room


5:15pm-6:45pm, Jimeni DJ set: Enjoy hip hop and rock tunes from this talented local DJ.  // The Long Building, Level 2


5:30pm-5:45pm: Cloverlick Spotlight: Get immersed in the roots of American folk music with this presentation and performance highlighting banjo playing styles such as clawhammer and three finger. // The Sisters, The Living Room


6:30pm-7:00pm, Lois and the Lantern: A zesty non-denominational Colorado string band made up of 4 bad ass chicks, Lois and the Lantern writes originals that fuse multiple genres such as bluegrass, blues, folk, rock, punk, pop and more. // The Sisters, The Living Room


7:00pm-9:00pm, Coloradical Music Video Marathon: Check out some of the best regional music videos featuring artists such as SHEL, Brent Cowles and Paper Bird. // The Long Building, Level 2


7:00pm-9:00pm, Live Video Installation: Experience multilayer projection mapping presented by EvrGlo Media. // The Sisters, Level 2


7:30pm-9:00pm, Household Collective DJ set: A group of local DJs in Fort Collins with a love for house music, Household Collective are dedicated to bringing that love to their events. // The Sisters, Level 2

Sonic Boom Photo BoothCapture the moment and take home a print of your photo. // The Sisters, The Living Room


Live Vinyl Cutting: Make your very own recording with Meep Records. Each record is cut immediately using vintage Presto Recording Lathes. // The Sisters, Blue Rehearsal Room


Listening Lab: Calling all bands, songwriters, and sonic artists! Bring in your recorded tunes, snippets, albums, music videos – either fully finished or works in progress – and share them with us and each other in this “car stereo-style” listen of your demo, mix, or mastered works. Inputs include digital, cassette, vinyl, and CD. // The Sisters, Media Library

Banjo Pickin’ Parlour: Step into a time capsule spotlighting vintage American folk music, presented by Cloverlick Banjo Shop. // The Sisters, Attic


KRFC Live@Lunch Jam SessionHead into the studio and jam on instruments, effects pedals, and record a short song that will be released digitally. // The Long Building, KRFC FM


Music Photography + Poster Show: Check out this pop-up art exhibit displaying Colorado-centric live music photography and locally-designed show posters. Featuring works by Kirsten Cohen, Michael Emanuele, and artists such as JJ Grey, Grace Potter, Cage the Elephant, The Burroughs, Wire Faces, and more. // The Long Building, Level 2
