Amongst the dozens of music camps that exist today for bluegrass-style banjo, most are rooted in traditional folk music and bluegrass.  Given the popularity of bands like the Flecktones and Punch Brothers, there is a large audience of banjo students interested and inspired by these new sounds and techniques.  Yet, there is not a single dedicated educational outlet for banjo focused on these advanced techniques and concepts.

Our esteemed faculty includes Jayme Stone (2-time June Award winner), Dr. Ben Krakauer(Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from the University of Texas), Wesley Corbett (former banjo professor at Berklee College of Music Berklee), Catherine “BB” Bowness (Freshgrass Banjo Champion), Jake Schepps (founder of Round Window Radio & camp director), and resident guitarist Grant Gordy (David Grisman Quintet alum).  With this group of diverse and accomplished instructors, we can cover a huge range of sophisticated musical topics, various new techniques, and delve into advanced musicianship.
