Bass Music // For Fans of: The Widdler, Sling Wave, Myxed Up, Qilin

“Too hetti to be mainstream, too loud for the underground,” Colorado bass music artist Waylo is a young prophet for electronic music’s united future. Waylo’s talented touch for crafting imaginative low-end focused beats at any BPM, his genuine charisma on the decks, and an appreciation for the creative community fostered by the music characterizes his fast rise through the ranks of the local scene. The DJ has shared bills with the likes of Caspa, Downlink, J:Kenzo, Bro Safari, G Space, Moody Good, and many more, at renowned Denver venues including The Black Box, Beta Nightclub, Ogden Theater, and Cervantes. His productions are featured on releases from The Gradient Perspective and Sugoi Collective.

I’ll clear up a common misconception about my name, which people often believe is related to the “bass being low”… HOWEVER, “Waylo” is a nickname that my dad had waaay back in the day. It comes from our last name “Arguello” and the abundant amount of people who can’t say it correctly. It has nothing to do with being “way low”!
